IT is a short term for the Information Technology. In most organizations or companies, IT is identical to the computer department. The place where all the latest technology and computers are gather to run an organization or enterprise system. Far imagine, the IT department is one important element in the organization or company. Without the IT Department a lot of things will happen outside of the control system which should be no longer valid.
IT departments at many companies have developed systems and programs. You never know what has been done by the IT Department for you until you stop and think about it. In short, if you use computer with any software or device or system that is in it, that’s the job of the IT department that is responsible for designing it all. From the IT department also born the business analyst. The business analyst may indeed not all born from the IT department. He may not be able to write specific code. But they know the ins and outs of the IT department. They are the ones who can talk with others to determine what should be done by the IT Department.
This system works like this. Shareholders who have business interests, has an idea which he considered to sell the business or create more advanced business. The idea is an easier way of doing things. Faster production means through which the short working hours. Shorter working hours means less payroll. Pay a reduced salary means more money for companies to spend elsewhere. The problem is when the shareholders tried to explain what he wants from IT Department to do. IT departments will capture the general concepts and will design an application to realize the program. Shareholders know that he can not use the code. So this is business analyst job to bridge the business interests of shareholders with the needs of the IT team.
Business analyst will listen to what the wishes of shareholders. He will evaluate each situation to determine whether the requirement of shareholder-deserved and needed. Business analyst can determine whether there are any other items needed by the shareholders and even end users for all purposes can be achieved. When all the necessary things have been determined, the business analyst will submit it to the IT department to make it happen. When someone mentions the name of the IT Department, then it must be done with great respect. Nearly every electronic device or system or computer codes will not work and running if it were not due to the role of IT Department.
